2 large sweet potatoes

1/4 cup dried wakame seaweed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 200°C. Line a tray with baking paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.

Prepare Wakame: Rehydrate the dried wakame by soaking it in a bowl of warm water for about 5-10 minutes. This will allow it to expand and become more pliable. After soaking, drain the wakame, pat it dry with paper towels and chop it roughly into small pieces.

Prepare Sweet Potatoes: Wash and slice the sweet potatoes into thin, long chips.

Season: In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil until they are evenly coated. Add sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder and freshly ground black pepper. Toss again to ensure the seasonings are well distributed.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking paper. Make sure they are not overlapping to ensure they bake evenly and become crispy.
